On one night; the sky was filled with stars adorn,

An infant, who shone like a star herself, was born,

That infant was named Josephine Selome John,

Mother, since birth you contained a special kind of aura,

As a child you have gone through good and bad times,

Memories more breathe taking than mines,

Since I was born; you were who I would rely on,

Forever and always, from dusk till dawn,

Nothing compared to your strong soul and heart,

For even when smiling; tries to heal them both when been ripped apart,

You have always been standing tall and strong,

Even when things have been going bad for so long,

I admire you for everything you did for me and everyone around,

For a most honored role model was who I found,

When I had any questions you would give me the answer or humor,

You would give me choices and defend me from a rumor,

I would always give you a motivation and positive attitude for anything,

I would always be there for you for everything,

Because every time I'm feeling that I'm drifting off course,

You're my compass; You're my one true north,

Whenever I see you smiling; the stars always shine more bright,

Even if there is something wrong; one look and everything feels right,

It is truly a magical thing; so irresistibly strong,

How could anything at the moment possibly feel wrong?

I am sorry and apologize for all the things that I did not right,

I am still a kid to you and I may sometimes not be able to think straight,

Even for the most unforgivable you still take my hand,

And say that you forgive me and that you truly understand,

I thank you for making me the strong, smart, and independent man I am today,

And I want, from the bottom of my heart, to thank you in any way,

Even if you showed me the basics of surviving life; you allowed my friends to also be my guide,

But no matter what I know that you will always be there by my side,

I love your laugh, your presence, and trust on secrecy,

I love how I can tell you something and you protect it like a security,

Your laughter brings life at times of boredom,

It makes everyone's spirit like a wild mustang running with freedom,

I love your sense of humor at anytime and anyplace,

I love the way you get scared  and swear vulgar words everytime I scare you,

I love the way when you hid once in my closet to scare me,

You make me laugh so hard that I could almost die,

I always think about you and the pain that you suffer by the problems in your life,

I feel that it would be less painful if I was stabbed with a knife,

Whenever I see you being happy; I just have to shed a tear of joy,

Nothing can be compared from my feeling of pure happiness for you,

Having you as my birth mother makes me feel so SPECIAL,

For you are the unique person in my life that I have ever had,

There are a mere ten words that I must say before I am through,

Why mothers have to be around you

Why mothers have to be around you: Mothers have to be around you because of the developments and lessons you have to learn in life, to go and ask questions that only they know about, to learn the values of everyday needs, to prosper and give joy and caring to you in the most compassionate way, to watch you say your first words, or to sit with you and read a book, to do your homework and ask for help on it, to compliment her on her cooking, nails and hair, to tell her she looks good while getting ready for a night out, to watch you as you take your first steps, to read a bedtime story to you, to leave the hall light on so the scary monsters won't get you through the night, to watch you sleep, and kiss you good night, to get you up in the morning so you can get dress for school, to hold your hand as the two of you walk to the school together, to watch you get on the bus, and to wait for you wave to her as you say goodbye, for you to take one last look at her as you walk to the classroom, to be right there when you come home from school, to greet you at that door, to cherish you in family moments to hold you tight and never let go through a crisis, to discipline you when you done a bad thing, to watch you grow into the person that she said you can be, to wipe away your tears and sing a song to you so the pain goes away, to watch you do your first event to cheer for you when you make a play, to smile for you when you bring home good grades to support you when you make a decision, to give you advice as a teenager, to call you in when it get dark, to watch you blow out your candles on your birthday to sing happy birthday to ya, to tell you to make a wish to watch you open your gifts and smile, on Christmas, to watch you go on your first date, to meet that girl you care so much about, To Love you and Guide you through life to protect you from the faults of life, to give you the value of love through her eyes, To spend every last moment with her as time flies, To simply say Thank you for everything, and to Never stop loving her no matter what. Life is to win the HEART!

It is true that we learnt all the things from our parents, teachers, friends, the things around us and with the situations.

They play very big role in our life. 

Directly or indirectly they teaches us to live with the situations.

And I now have learnt that you have won everything if you have won the heart of the people.

If you wanna enjoy in the club, wanna collect diamond of happiness......, life....., life is not this all. Life is the name of work, honest, success, love and heart. In fact life is the name of heart, winning the HEART!

You don't stop and get tired. Time can be changed. In this path you might lost your way, you might try many times, might not find to come out but you should have faith on you, so you will come out from all the problems.

Ya, in your journey, you will meet lots of people, some people are good and some people are bad. You must have to go with bad as well. Because the real meaning of life is 'WINNING The HEART' of the people.

In this game of life everything might be changed, whatever you have now might not be with you tomorrow, all the happiness and enjoyment might be gone, all your hard work to get your destination might be futiled. 

But everything will be come back if you have won the HEART of the people.
